So before we actually get to see Aurelion Sol (aka Lion), what type of dragon do you think RITO will be using for his design?

I'm fully expecting something greco-roman in origin to tie in with Targon and the vaguely Roman influences on all those champs.

"Lion" is a shape shifting dragon identical to 
. aurelion sol is SUPPOSE to be an actual full blooded dragon.
i mean i guess its possible, but that would be so fucking disappointing if we got another shyvana. like wtf?
There's a possibility it could be a serpentine dragon since they said they were confident they could solve the problems they were having with it at the time. Knowing riot though, it will probably be something a little different than what we're expecting.
From what I have heard it may simply be a western dragon because the other suggestions bring very complicated coding to the table.

Im fine with anything that isnt a generic fire dragon, through the literally "emperor of the sun" is kinda bound to be just that.
Well, that dragon we see in the first picture is Ao Shin, the dragon Riot promised us. So, Aurelion Sol, being confirmed, (I believe) is going to look like our dearly departed Ao Shin. And judging his name Aurelion SOL. He is going to be a sort of Sun creature. R.I.P. Ao Shin. Well the dragon looks like him. Dont quote me on that.
Given the fact they deliberately moved away from the eastern style because of the animation needs, I'm inclined to think he'll look more traditional.
