Hey Riot, what exactly are Elmarks?

They've been mentioned in two bios now, Kled's and Ivern's, and given what's been written about them they seem to be herbivorous animals that live in herds, and are particularly bloodthirsty, at least by their own admission. In Noxus they're hunted, and given the environment of the two bios they can live in both grasslands/deserts and verdant forests, indicating potentially different species, but I dunno.

Is there anymore insight you guys could provide about them? They sounds cool and I'd like to know more.

Also where the sod is the Aulderwood?
