Don't forget every champion involved in the Shurima update that wasn't Azir and Xerath

I mean, Bard and Ekko are recent champion. And recent champions usually have a full lore or a little story to go with. ( Like Illaoi and Jhin ).

The current format for lore actually predates both of them; the style of big bio + colour text only started during the Bilgewater event with Graves, Gangplank, Miss Fortune and Twisted Fate. The first new champion to have this style of lore was Kindred.

They(together with Rek'Sai and Tahm kench) were done before Riot established the new lore format.

I guess the diary of the noxian trying to capture rek'sai,the mountain video,the ekko comic and the tahm kench tale were pretty much their full lore pieces,because at that time the champs only got the so called "color text"(basically a short story) and due to the technical problems riot experimented a bit of how they gave us this lore.

The new lore format was only established when the bilgewater event came out,so they probably never prepared anything like that for these champs.

Because they don't actually have lore in the new format, if anything they'll only have colour text to be added, but hell even that'd be appreciated at this point. Elise, Evelynn, Tahm Kench, Tristana and the cast of Shurima (including Rek'Sai) all suffer from this, but at least Riot's already said the Shuriman champs are getting lore in the new format in the near future. As for the others I can't say.
