Snowdown icon looks a lot like a previous winter icon...

I didn't know where to put this and I doubt it'll get proper attention, but one of the current snowdown icons looks exactly like one of the snowdown icons we received LAST YEAR.

I'm talking about the Katarina blade with the ribbon wrapped around it. It's basically the same icon. Couldn't we have at least gotten a new, different icon for this Snowdown? I know we have the opportunity to get two other icons, but to copy/redo one from last year seems kinda lazy?

They are basically the same yes. I suppose enough people liked it that they decided to give them a second shot at getting it.

I guess I'm one of the few who liked this move since I love the Slay Belle Katarina skin but only joined a few months back so I don't have the icon (got the skin though, mystery gifts ftw). But I can understand how this would frustrate those who have it already. I actually thought I didn't get it even though my progress report says I should, then I realised it had appeared much lower down in my icons list.

I still think last year's looks better though, it's much more vibrant. :D

I actually didn't notice that they were 2 different icons and thought they just made an old icon avaliable again(which would be kinda cool in my opinion,I never liked it that some icons are simply lost forever for me,just because I joined before they were avaliable)

I'm actually happy about it because I didn't get the icon last year and it's one of my favorites. Although I kind of still like last year's better.

Yeah they are pretty much identical. There are only subtle differences in them.. I was sad.

they are literally the same icon. riot has said they are allowing players another chance to get the slay belle katarina icon this year.

They are the same icon if you look on the promo site. It was brought back by "popular demand".

Woah it is different.. I do like the shiney one better. Weird they did that though, I wonder why they didn't just make a new one instead of re-doing an old icon? What should happen instead is re-doing the classic icons. Talk about ooooold ._. But I suppose people wouldn't like that either maybe? :S Leave the Icons beeeee rito!
