I just noticed Warwick's splash art depicts him as anywhere from slightly taller than a man to the size of a mountain. Aside from him and Vel'Koz, are there any other champs that have several outrageous size differences between their splashes?
There are a lot. Glacial Olaf is a giant. Renektoy, Super Kennen and Moo Cow Alistar are kid's toys. The four World Breakers are big enough to break worlds. The Darkstar Corruptants are bigger than planets. Ironside Malphite is smaller than classic Malphite.
By comparison, Vel'koz's skins are all rather similar. Classic Vel'koz is pretty big, you just can't tell from the splash art.
Well, sometimes its a theme, like the mecha skins.
Yeah several skins depict champions much taller(or sometimes smaller) than their main counterparts.
This applies for example to pretty much all the mecha skins(except for maybe Malphite,he is quite big in the main lore) or prehistoric anivia/Renekton.
Though dark star is likely the most extreme example as they are taller than planets.
