Yep. This is another Harrowing thread. Deal with it, Riot.

I started playing a few months ago, and I was so excited about the game that I got my daughter into it, too. She's a pretty badass Thresh now, and a killer Fizz-- not bad for 10. But perhaps even as much as winning, what she's been excited about is spending her allowance on cool new stuff for the game. She wanted the Gnar plushie, and she's been dying for the Harrowing skins.

Guess what happened when I told her Riot decided not to do the Harrowing on Halloween this year? If you're dumb-- like, an employee of Riot, maybe-- then look at the thread title.

Im sorry to hear that, but did you not notice the HARROWING lore story that has been going up throughout the week, or does the event only mean 3sp00ky5me skins to you, because the harrowing happend, but because worlds lasted as long as it did, the skins were delayed to not be released during LC$BIGPLAYS time

Hate to hear that op, however this can be used as a lesson for your little girl though. Corporations become greedy and forget what got them where they are, never trust or count on them for anything. Riot is chief among these.

That right there was uncalled for and there was no good reason to add it in. I can get that you are mad at Riot for letting your daughter down and making her cry, I would be pretty angry if I was in that situation. However, throwing insults at the company doesn't help anything. Please don't do it again in the future, it makes the Boards look bad.

You're a bad father in that case. You should've told her to be patient, and that Riot won't forget about Harrowing. NOT that it won't ever happen.

This is just sad. I'm sorry your daughter got upset over this, but Riot not having Halloween related content out for Halloween is no reason to start a witch hunt. They don't actually HAVE to make ANYTHING for the Harrowing. This and every other Harrowing Skins QQ thread needs to get over their sense of entitlement. The only ones with a legitimate case are the ones that don't think the skin quality (not theme, but quality) is up to par.

And before you say it (since I've seen you use this pathetic argument already in this thread), no. I do not work for Riot Games.

its REALLY hard to pitty someone who crys over not getting a skin, even if they are 10 years old. infact, considering the nature of the internet and the 8 year olds in 20 - 30year old bodies it almost pisses me off at the mere thought.

I'm sorry that she feels that way. However, a Halloween event will be happening soon. It didn't match with the October 31 date, but it will definitely happen soon. The only difference from last year is that we're getting a zombie apocalypse theme rather than shadow isles ghost stuff.

The legacy halloween skins will most definitely be avaiable when the event kicks off. Riot didn't end the Halloween events, they just changed the theme. Shadow Isles --> Zombies --> Who knows what's next year

Your "daughter" is upset because you didn't get one of the shitty harrowing skins for this event today. So you're upset because Riot didn't give you what you wanted, exactly when you wanted it, on a silver platter.

Get over this pitiful sense of entitlement. Riot owes you nothing.

The Harrowing skins will be released/rereleased during Halloween, it's just that the Harrowing lore events will be separated from the Halloween. :P
