Lets theorize what the Shurima champions' stories will be

Some people cynically insist we won't get more than we got during the Shurima Event. Let's assume the champions will get more lore for the sake of this discussion; save your critique of the lore for another thread.

So, a bunch of champions' bios got a bit of a retcon during the event and a short blurb for their new lore. What do you think will be done with their new stories based on their new summary?

Rammus, I think, might be connected to the Ascended and ancient Shurima. Skarner is guarding something, possibly the retconed form of his race? Maybe he was created because of Rek'Sai. Ezreal only got some more context on his artifacts origin and will probably be free to have adventures outside of Shurima, sans being summoned randomly as before. Xerath got an excellent rewrite with a bit more nuance, IMO. I have no idea what his plans would be after his release from the Tomb, though. Sivir will probably have an interesting story going forward, it could go any number of ways. Amumu had his situation fleshed out, I'm curious about his story as well, past and future. I bet Annie will need some writing before it moves forward, though; I assume she will still be part of his story. Nasus and Renekton have good potential as a sub-plot in Shurima.
