Did Lux free Sylas? Or did she do so by accident?

I don't know why, but in the end of the video it feels like Lux was helping Sylas.

The way it showed in the end where both possibilities make sense just by watching the video. A- Lux helped and freed Sylas and B- Sylas stole her magic without her knowing it

Idk how the lore for Demacia is going to be, but isn't it already updated or not yet?

Edit: I read the story. Thanks anyway.

Read his story, he got taken out of the prison to be executed, he was able to touch Lux with his chains, then went berserk with her magic, sparing only her.

You need to read his Bio on the Universe page it wasnt the prison he escaped from it was a public hanging that he barely escaped from.. And there is a question of wether or not lux helped him in some way, imo she rubbed on him on accident :/ Lux is a kind warm hearted individual but she isnt very smart or savvy which imo gets her in trouble a lot.. I do think that she likes him but she wouldnt understand how his powers work so it wouldnt be possible for her to help him at least knowingly..

Lux befriended Sylas due to what they both have in common; Magic. She never knew his true plans to break out and start an anarchistic Demacian riot. Sylas had plans to use her to break free however, unbenkowst to her.

So yea, she's the reason he broke free, but she didn't mean to.

Quickly, they were friends, he tutored her in magic she kept him up to date on the world outside.

He used the books to discover he could use Petricite as a channel for his magic stealing. her family found out about their friendship and arranged for his execution. She attended to protest and he hit her with his petricite to steal her light magic and used to to slaughter everyone except her at his hanging. She was left horrified and he was free.

I honestly have a feeling although we are supposed to believe that Lux was clueless to Sylas's true plans, i have a feeling she is smarter than we think. Due to some of there interactions, for example, Sylas saying "your secret is safe with me, Little Spark" i feel that Lux had been planning to escape Demacia with him, although she did not know he was planning to kill most of the Demacian family in the process. I think we are supposed to think these voice lines reference Lux's secret to be her possession of magic but i feel that there is a deeper truth here. Another piece of evidence is when Sylas says "Every light has a shadow" referencing the dark side of Lux that wants to rebel and escape Demacia to practice her magic. Just a theory though.

Sylas says in game to Luxanna: "your secret is safe with me, Little Spark" , he refers to her possesing magic, which in Demacia is Illegal and which Lux hides to her brother and Family (her family knows it but tries not to worry about). Her family is not aware that her job for Demacia implies using her magic, but only when out of Demacia.

Apart from that, here is my theory on Lux relation to Sylas:

In Lux lore is said that at the age of 13 a night that Galio was active, and he is active only when there is enought Magic power to wake him from his "sleep", Lux gained a fresh perspective of her powers while in the Capital of Demacia, which i suspect to be the night that this happened :

Sylas and his handlers encountered a mage living in hiding in the countryside. After discovering it was only a young girl, Sylas took pity on her. When he tried to shield the child from the mageseekers, he accidentally brushed against her skin. The girl’s magic rushed through Sylas’s body—but rather than killing him, it shot forth from his hands in raw, uncontrolled bursts. It was a talent he did not know he possessed, and it resulted in the deaths of three people, including his mageseeker mentor.

There is no real reference that the girl is Lux, but it could probably be her a she is the one that started to visit him, probably couse she is the girl he saved from the mageseekers in her youth. And the Fact that Galio was active the night that Lux gained her new insight on her powers probably indicates that Sylas was the one to wake Galio from his "sleep" when escaping his crime.

So well, maybe it's a vague intuition of mine but i would afirm that Lux is the girl that Sylas saved that night and that she wanted to thank him for what he did when she found he was imprisoned, which is why she bringed him books and befriended him, which he used in his favour.

Sylas isn't actually sane, but rather the opposite (15 years imprisoned and alone do their job) but Lux didn't notice it couse of her manner of being and her admiration for him. It's even possible she could join him in his purpose in the near future.
