So I had a question about the crownguards. First question is, why were Garen and Lux wanting to turn Fiora into a crownguard, pretty sure they were aware of that whole marriage fiasco that was happening. Why did they want her to join their house from a political perspective? I mean what benefit would they get from her seeing her own house's reputation was horrible. I assume there was a reason why the crownguards wanted Fiora married into their house? Why the desperation?

Fiora's house would benefit from obtaining a strong backer (the crownguards) while the crownguards would gain an incredible fighter to add to their ranks.

Nothing like harvesting talent from a house that's in shambles to further the strength of your own holdings

Both sides would get something important that the other had (talent vs strong backing/method of bolstering the damaged rep of the house)

Garen is a man, just by seeing Fiora its normal to want to turn her to a Crownguard

im pretty sure garen and lux didnt have anything to do with that decision, if they even had a say in it.

but rather their parents who are at least in the stories still alive and seem to be making the decisions as patriarch/matriarch of house crownguard.

i havent read the reworked story of fiora, but did garen and lux actually push for that marriage or was it their parents?
