Simple. On one hand we have a well traveled guy that goes on many adventures and never lets circumstances get him down. He's quite resourceful, intelligent, and he knows what's up around the world he explores.

On the other end we have another well read individual who also knows what's up around the world, perhaps more than her peers due to the covert operations she does. She is also intelligent, with an infectious positive personality and outlook on life. She would be keen for adventure as well, as opportunities arise for her to show Demacia her light, basically that magic isn't all that bad.

Together we have two traveling companions who can make each other laugh, discover anything from artifacts to enemy intelligence, AND Ez has a pic of them together. They may just be friends at this point.

Plus they are both quite cute together imo.

That's the condensed version anyway. I have more reasons but I don't want to make this too long.

Just running few a few things:

One: in her VO, she says they've never even talked. So they're not even friends.

2: Maybe that's just art ez drew, and that's why he's so embarrassed about it.

3: Ezreal goes all over the place, seeking artifacts. Lux goes on covert missions (don't see why that can be kept but her rough childhood had to be scrapped. it doesn't fit her gameplay at all). As such, it's not like Lux is just galavanting around having fun. She has her own life and her own issues to deal with.

Plus ez is an obnoxious brat who could have told the captain to not kill that guy. Lux on the other hand is really sweet and reminds me of one friend I used to have who was basically lux given flesh.

That's why I think they're a bad ship.

This ship of mine has been a thing for a while. Long before this VO came out. It is hard to sink. They can be introduced, you know?

It's very possible, and if it's true it shows that Ez has a crush on her, insinuating that your impressions of him as a selfish brat are incorrect.

You still going on about this? That part of his lore isn't in dialogue mode, even if he did it wouldn't have mentioned it. Also he has very limited VO mostly referring to him using skill. Which in itself is a reference to his kit being made up of pretty much only skillshots.

Ez is a cocky teen, there are plenty of them around. He's overconfident due to the magic glove he has, not a brat. Give him a break.

It may have been around for a while, but just because I shipped Aang and Toph doesn't mean they got together in the end. Length of the ship means jack if it gets shot down by the creators.

Okay, just because you have a crush on someone doesn't mean you can't be selfish. I've known many jackasses who had crushes and tried drawing art of the person yet couldn't get their head around the fact that the person didn't like them.

Why would an artifact be in a city where Lux is going on a covert mission? Ezreal doesn't go to cities for his adventures. Lux does.

Also, just because his VO doesn't mention the guy he allowed to get thrown overboard doesn't make it non-canon. And he's still annoying even if he's cocky. There's Galio cocky, which is endearing and has depth to it: it's likely his way of handling the fact that everyone he grows to care for will die before he awakens again. He acts arrogant. Ezreal, on the other hand, has his whole tragic backstory and just because he's a teen doesn't excuse his behavior. I hate most of my classmates, find them to be the most immature and irritating people in the world, but I'd prefer their company to Ezreal's any day.

I'm harsh on him because he's exactly like half the people I go to school with. I have to interact with 30 ezreal's EVERY. SINGLE. DAY.

Imagine if the most irritating people you've ever met suddenly showed up in your escape game. You'd hate them, right? Now imagine they've gone into a guy who, lore-wise, can do no wrong.

You'd find them to be the most obnoxious asshole, right?

Personally I don't find any one person particularity irritating, but even if I did I wouldn't go as far as to hate them.

Lore-wise? Eh. It's first person. He could easily overlook mistakes he made in his adventures.

Trust me. When people show no signs of mental or emotional maturity over the course of ten years, you grow to hate them. I'm far from the most mature person, but at least I'm aware that I'm not gods gift to the world.

You'll learn to hate. It's all I know, and all fall into the trap eventually.

I like that it adds consistency between the skin and the rest of Lux's VO. As as someone who's been a Lux one trick for YEARS, I'm thrilled at the fresh dialogue.
