So a new video is popping up on the regional LoL pages. All of them have different captions. Translations are:

German : Did you hear that? French : Be careful, they are coming. Greek : Come... ("They are coming" or "It is coming.") Italian : You've heard you too? ("Did you hear that too?" or "Have you heard that too?" ) Polish : They are coming for your buffs... Romanian : It is coming ... Spanish : Did you feel that?

Now besides getting very detailed images of these items item 3108 item 2003 item 2004 , they are all placed in the same order as they are on the Red Shopkeepers stand on Summoners Rift.

Im not sure what this all means, share your thoughts on what you think it is teasing towards and if you are a native speaker of one of these languages, feel free to comment correct the translation and Ill edit it in.

I think it's one of the following:

  • A new cinematic trailer teaser
  • A new champion teaser
  • A VU for Nunu, the premier jungle yeti.

the shaking potions remind me of jurassic park when the T-rex was coming. That makes me think of Cho'Gath since he's comparable to the T-Rex. Though, it says "They are coming", Icathia event maybe? We'll see.

I believe it could be a new game mode. Possibly something like Doom Bots.

I have a feeling they took an idea from the boards.

A few months ago there was a post talking about a featured game mode someone thought up. A Jurassic Park themed mode where all the jungle camps became enormous, like baron sized, and roamed around the entire rift, fighting anything they came across. They even made a mod to display their idea.

What if this time we get a Void related game mode. We have the voidling models, maybe they can do a horde/survival tipe of thing.

I'd bet 50rp it's Doom Bots coming back.

I love the idea of a Cho visual update but from what Ironstylus said about how he/they'd love to do something truly big for Cho and his size increase, I doubt it'd be anytime soon.

I dont know, but in the LAN/LAS video it says "They are coming..." in plural. So i dont think that is about Cho.

The new game mode is Hexakill on the fake Twisted Treeline, so, i dont think that is a game mode.

Riot is about to release Ekko... and i dont think that this video has a connection with him.

A legendary skin? it says "THEY" so i doubt that its a single skin, and Nunu (and the Yeti) already has a legendary skin.

A video teaser for a VU? i dont think so... they have never done such thing before.

I guess that it has direct relation with the shoopkeeper and the map.

1 word Gangplank

Stars Shaper5/25/2015, 9:35:08 AM1 votes

Hmm could it be some sort of jungler with the same archetype of "The Lost Vikings" in HotS? Micro management champion with multy units?

Doot5/26/2015, 9:34:04 AM1 votes

At the moment I'm think it could be some sort of Skin for Nunu or Sejuani, riding a dinosaur or something. I only think this as of the "They" in some of the translations, so if it is anything for a champ they have to be either riding something or multiple people. Having said this could this be a new jungle camp that steals your buffs? Idk but maybe it is like a dinosaur that is Mr steal yo' Buff... Just a theory...

Shinpizzle5/27/2015, 8:19:17 PM1 votes

Guys, this is totally a re-work reference. Jurassic Park was the revival of the dinosaurs, so this is alluding to a massive champion set rework, all the "Old Dinosaur" champs of league were reworked and they are coming as a team to the Rift, hence all the different translations and why the ground was quaking so much.

SpongebobIsLife5/24/2015, 8:15:13 PM1 votes

im thinking that it's a new champion(s) or a champion update. But then again, the translations say they are coming which leads me to believe that whatever it is, it is more than one. Maybe it's a champion that actually involves 2 people or something, or maybe this is a reference to neither of things.

Seems like the vid was just for a skin line: Prehistoric anivia, cho'gath and renekton.

Sherogarth5/24/2015, 9:25:21 PM1 votes

Proper Polish translation is: "Idą po wasze buffy..." -> "They are coming for your buffs..."

warpenguin5555/24/2015, 9:31:09 PM1 votes

possibly a new legendary skin incoming

TerraRising5/24/2015, 10:36:14 PM1 votes

Wild speculation is fun.

  • The shopkeepers will soon have voiceover lines, similar to the ones on the Howling Abyss.
  • Gangplank rework incoming. The "footsteps" have a similar tempo to Gangplank's ultimate.
  • Riot devs are currently reworking some masteries in the PBE. Perhaps these are the "buffs" in question.

It's too soon for a new champion reveal (Rito said they're only releasing eight new champs this year), so maybe a rework other than Gangplank...

Edit: Could also be a teaser for the upcoming LCS Season, which starts this weekend.

GreenLore5/24/2015, 11:29:47 PM1 votes

Would be weird for a new champion, but not impossible.

Although i think it is more likely to be something else, something jungle related, although I have no idea what it could be.(doubt its a rework,I mean the only rework to get any special attention was Sion and that was because Sions rework was massive)

Melancholy Exile5/25/2015, 5:00:19 AM1 votes

I'm certainly inclined to go with the thought that this is the addition of voiceover lines for the shopkeepers on the Rift.

its obviously merchant Zac skin
