What's your thoughts of the city Amumu destroyed?
Amazing video!
I'm curious about the environments in the video, especially the city at the end. Where is it supposed to be, and how long ago does this journey take place?
What do you think?

Am I the only person that didn't like the video? I feel Riot is throwing this to 12 year old's and Disney fans. How about you go into detail on HOW he died, HOW he lived his life. That fact he died as a child is a lot more heart wrenching than walking around as an un-dead looking for a friend.
How about you go into detail on how a close friend, or relative died when he was a boy, and perhaps he is continuing a search for this individual. Or his friends and family were ruthlessly killed or pillaged by Bilgewater pirates, and Amummu is left with nothing and slowly dies in sadness. Or is he cursed by Azir or Xerath as punishment because of a friend or family member (thinking first born is cursed because you broke so and so Shurima law). Instead we have a mummy just wandering around the forest with wannabe Disney movie playing (which I had to mute a few times) looking for a shred of life.
Leagues lore team can have a rich and beautiful story for a lot of characters, but instead they play it down to storybook child characters and backgrounds. Even Xeraths and Azirs' story was so convoluted and worded so horribly bad that you never really got the just of what the hell they were doing. How about they just made a good movie about Azirs rise to power, and Xerath taking that from him before his ascension. That had some promise for a great story, effects, drama, and character interaction / personality than some words on a page.
To see a brotherhood bonding between Azir and Xerath, and to see him ultimately betray him really makes you want to say "What a dick move...". It had serious potential.
The imagery in this vid is AMAZING though. Since that last harrowing video they've started using that storybook sort of theme and it's executed a lot better this time around imo. The scenes were incredibly well done, props to the art team or whoever worked on this.
It makes me excited for future stories they're going to do.
Just hope we can see them in a timely manner.
Also for some reason I thought this was the singer of Imagine Dragons but I don't really listen to them so I wouldn't know? I am curious though.
If it was a lore related city, I'd be quite surprised. As it stands, it was all an abstract journey of Amumu grappling the moon and wandering about in a Burton-esque wonderland, I wouldn't speculate if it's a city in Runeterra until we have something more concrete to speculate off of.
Whole time i watched the video i thought i was high, he bandaged the moon then got pooped out of a flower into a bed of butterflies and then he fell off rocks, that weren't rocks they were giant ravens... then he gandalfed it over to a random city / town and fucked shit up.
Woops posted this in the wrong thread. I'm just going to quote myself I guess:
I'm a little disappointed that this music video is only rehashing things we already knew for the most part. No new lore info from the lyrics but the (gorgeous) visuals suggest that he's wandered out of the Shurima, through the Twisted Treeline of the Shadow Isles, close to Bilgewater, into the Glade, and finally what looks like possibly Bandle City (doorways are child size)? But there's nothing to corroborate my guesses.
Perhaps the upcoming promotions/vids/whatever will explain more but I'm not holding my breath.
In terms of League lore, I have nooooo clue. In terms of style and feel, I instantly thought Machinarium.
Well i guess there are tow options really when it comes down to deciding what that city really was:
Kinda simple really, I mean maybe the city is real but distorted by his memory loss since he cant remember his past life, or so I think since apparently he was able to go back to his old home ( but that requires more speculation and more lore). Or maybe this is the Glade? Who knows.
Before your all like, "Wut no, Sheorma is a giant sand box and stuff!" Well yes as of right now such is the state of the place a endless desert. But you have to understand that Ammumu is older than Azir, let that sink in there for a moment, he has been wondering Valoran for centuries now. Also it isn't to far fetched that maybe at the time Shurima wasn't just a giant desert but maybe a sorta of jungle place surrounded by a desert of something. One last thing I would like to point out is that Ammumu entered the moon when he was a boat thing, outside a couple of islands in the middle of the sea, what kind of city? Bilgewater, but that may have a connection or not.
Just my theory though so don't think this is actually factually fact.
Riot: Two questions. 1 statement.
Here's the singer's twitter page https://twitter.com/praeco
The city had some sort of alice-in-wonderland feeling to me and it looked a bit like it was a bit more advanced(It hat a giant metal tower I think?),so at first I thought it was piltover, but looking at the doors it actually seems like a yordle city, since the doors are all around the same size as amumu.
(amumu wandering around in bandle city territory would also explain why the official site lists him as a bandle city champ)
I thought Amumu had wandered into the Glade.
