"Artifacts of True Ice hold incredible power, but only the Iceborn can wield them."
Ok. We know about the descendents of the three sisters but...how can Trundle use a True Ice weapon?

As far as we know, the iceborn were not a native race in the Freljord, they were humans which got granted powers by the Watchers. And in exchange for these, the Watchers demanded the servitude of them.
With that in mind: It is possible that these special powers were not exclusive for humans. Chances are that some Watchers were granting these powers to other species as well. Maybe some trolls, vastaya and other Freljordian races got the same treatment, but much rarer and therefore it isn't well known. In that scenario, Trundle could be the descendent of one of these exceptions.
Never thought about this... Maybe its some kind of faux true-ice?
Maybe he's not using it properly. Maybe it has powers that we just don't see after all he's just hitting people with it. It's kinda like he's hitting people over the head with a machine gun instead of firing it.
Then again he can summon ice pillars so that might be the club
I'm sure the Lore team is about as competent as the Balance and Matchmaking teams. I suggest you pick apart the Bible, you MIGHT get more done. MIGHT being keyword xD
