If petricite is a communist material that can take and expel magic could it be that the reason for garen being able to ult with a magic sword be that his sword is made from petricite and has that sword magic stored in there?

A lot of Demacian weapons are made of Demacian steel, which is an alloy of metal and petricite...

So yes!

It's made out of Demacian Steel, which is partly made of Petricite if I remember correctly.

Also, Petricite is not a "communist metal".

It also explains how the Silence effect of his Q could work in lore.

If someone hits you with a sword infused with anti-magic rocks, it's definitely going to have an impact on your spellcasting ability.

Petricite is a type of rock. Steel is far stronger. Just saying.
