And it perplexes me. Pretty odd thing to drop right at the start of a new cycle with no context, given the nature of the art shown right?

Well I want too. It is something we've been looking at for longer than I've been at riot. A lot of the promo's have been test runs for this sort of media. (Seeing what people like) Text has an advantage currently for my department as it has the lowest tech and art needs.

Which was something WAAARGHbobo talked about in regards to Jhin a few months back. For those who don't remember or haven't read yet, Jhin's heading to Zaun for a...performance.

Sod if I know what this really is, but It just came out of the blue so I'm just scratching my head in bewilderment. Thoughts my fellow summoners?

Well it's about time my girl Vi finally gets some sort of attention, even if it's just lore based.

On a side note, I am hoping beyond hope that this is a hint at a legendary Vi skin...

This might be another lore update for Zaun/Piltover. They might release the new champion with the update like they did with Sol and Tali

yeah I also think this might be stuff from an upcoming event popping up. I mean the new gamemode that is currently in testing seems to be heavily hextech-inspired and now we get an icon for 2 piltovian champs(and have already that info about jhin),it seems to add up quite a bit.

I think it's for the next champion. We haven't had a Piltoverian? Piltoverer? Piltoverist? Champion in a while, and it makes sense from a lore wise point of view too. Jhin is headed there, Shen and Zed on his trail, and Graves and Twisted Fate were also going to go there to get Graves a new gun.
