What Is Love?

"Stars are wonder and love ignited."

"Love is as real a force as gravity. Try it once in a while."

I don't know any other champion offhand that has talked about Love, other than Aurelion Sol. At first he seems like a scary, arrogant space dragon...but then, there ARE hints that actually he was a different person before his enslavement.

Is he a GOOD character, or is he amoral?

Benevolent, yet disdainful of the lower life forms. He wouldn't go out of his way to kill pathetic mortals, but he also wont feel bad if their deaths were the result of his actions.

Aurelion seems rather neutral. He geniunly loves the stars that he created and when he revealed himself to the targonians he had benevolent intentions(and he was bored).

However he doesn't really care about the lifes of others and his lore says that he would pretty much do anything to get his freedom.

To me, Aurelion sounds like he used to be a genuinely very caring dragon. He cares a lot about his stars, he came to Runeterra at first just to visit these lesser beings and see what they were up to, etc.

But then he got backstabbed by the Targonians and turned into a weapon. I think millenia of enslavement have turned him very cynical and angry (Dude should hang out with Xerath sometime.) He's realized that even though he might care for something, they certainly don't care back. That's probably what made him so bitter and arrogant.
