is the only one left to have his classic splash art outdated and i wish riot could change/update his splash art. Knowingly that varus just received a new splash and even his old splash is up to date, it makes me question myself if riot still care/love skarner. Don't argue with me about xin and irelia because xin is indeed gonna get a new splash art while irelia is the next VGU candidate after swain, meaning, she'll get new splashes.

I choose the one in the middle right, because it shows the character of skarner very much. Specially, his tail circling around the gem stone.

Fizz Leona Nautilus Hecarim Are the worst offenders and whose VGU is not even remotely on the horizon so I see absolutely no reason why an art update shouldn't be encouraged. Unfortunately updating skin splash art for champions who've had past visual updates already seems to take up most of the illustration team's priority and capability.

Skarner needs a rework. Be patient and wait for that.

Credit that artist you took that artwork from, because it's not yours.

There are some champs as Leona, Diana, Skarner that does not received the update yet.

I could wait until his VGU but I agree with you on the pose and style that the splash art should take on.

It should show him as a fearsome creature yes, but as a protector and somebody who is actively on a mission to save his beloved species and crystals.

I'd rather have a VU/VGU faster and then get a new splash than just trying to sugarcoat his horrenduous visuals. And besides the one you pointed out, they kinda feel about as bland as his current one. The execution is good but there isn't much to say about them.

A lot of champions from his time have the same splash arts and personally i don't think they are too bad and need an update asap. It can wait a little longer, but it would be nice to get splash art updates for the 2011-2012 champs

when is Xin getting a new splash, doesnt seem like anytime soon. I am excited for a skarner update and can wait for the splash update to some with it
