Ionia Update?

So with the addition of Kayn it seems to me that there is a lot of new/updated Ionian stuff.

That includes: Kayn Release Xayah and Rakan Release + Vastaya Introduction(Nami, Rengar, Wukong, Ahri) Lee Sin lore update(Very scant but it's something) Yasuo Origins and future gameplay changes Jinh Release + Shen lore update

I believe that all this points to Ionia as the region most likely to get an update similar to how Demacia's stories got updated or maybe even a Shurima or Targon level update. So what do you think? Any feedback would be appreciated(I'm personally waiting for an Akali VGU)

If we actually would get a Ionia Update, we probably would have get a icon at the PBE so far and some champion interaction with Ionians. However, none of our three last champion have any meaningful interaction with any Ionians.

I guess Riot has no idea that to do with Ionia rn.

I kinda doubt that we get one. Like Tialilia pointed out,we didn't get an ionia icon, like we did with Zaun,Piltover and Demacia.

However I think it is possible that Kayn could come with a lore update to the champs that are related to him and Rhaast. Aatrox Varus Zed of which 2 are actually ionian.

Since the demacian update, all fingers have pointed towards noxus being the next region to be updated. I get what you are saying about many Ionian stuff being released considering the last three champions are from Ionia but much of the Ionia lore is centered around their lingering resentment and conflict with noxus. Even the newest champions have talked more on noxus then they have on any other regions. Before we can get to the once peaceful continent, we will have to look at noxus which has two major champions at the top of the vgu listing:Urgot and Swain Noxus has had a great impact on all the known regions and we need to get a look from their perspective( the good and the bad) before we look at it from a perspective of a region that will absolutely only paint them in a diabolical light
