Apparently someone doesn't watch Anime often enough, they could have shenanigans similar to that on so many levels and they are just close friends, not some sex crazed 'lovers' or similar sorts. Seriously go look it up, plenty of 'pretty boy/girl' animes or 'very close but just dear friend' shenanigans based animes/mangas exist.
