i mean lux really can control all the elements but started with light?

The closet I'd say it is to cannon is that it's similar Captain Fortune and Spirit guard Udyr, it's a form that she will eventually become or already has taken.

She can copy magical skills from other users of magic, which means that she can use magic from other elements, but the skin is not canon.
Its canon as any Alternate Reality skin....as in the Alternate Reality thing speaks for itself.
Doubt it. Magic seems a lot more limited in the new lore,so I doubt that this whole "she can copy other spells" is going to remain a thing and I doubt that she'll be able to do anything than light magic.
