Why is your team always blue and enemy red in new champ select?

I get it's probably "to help us distinguish what team we're on" but damn if Riot thinks we're that dumb and can't figure it out by simply seeing who's next to our name. Instead it gets confusing as to what side of the map you're playing on (red vs blue side).

What ever happened to desire for "visual clarity"?

"Shirts vs. Skins" ...do my teammates really have to take their shirts off in basketball for me to distinguish whose on my team?

I would assume the 3D model placing you and each of your teammates on their respective side of the map would be clarity enough.
