It's really cool but IMHO could be cooler.
It's just this feeling I have, looks less like a malevolent cosmic entity and more like our familiar chain warden 
dressed up for an apocalypse-fetish-BDSM session.

Is it just me, or have the newer splash arts been less and less detailed as of late? The El Rayo splashes, for instance, seem to be at around the same quality as the old Evelynn splash art. It's disappointing, because in comparison to the ultra-detailed artwork of Championship Shyvana and/or the Bilgewater skin line splash art from last year, these are especially unimpressive.
The new Nidalee and Trundle splashes look great though, so I guess it's not all of the newer ones.
I don't know about anyone else but the anatomy in his hand and fingers seems wrong
