Written creations, and is @Riot okay with that?

As an author and an avid league player, i was wondering if Riot would ever endorse a Fan-Made novel of League. I know that youtubers, and streamers make money off of their own League content, but how would that fare for an artist? would there still be copyright laws concerning such, and would the author have to have permisson from the company first?
