Jhin's number four, an interesting detail

We all know his gun is marked with four straight lines.

We later found out that he indeed is obsessed with the number four, but there was some discrepancy between the Roman numerals used on the designs of Vi, Ekko and Jinx. The number four in Roman numerals should be written as IV, right? That's odd.

I was just browsing the photos I've taken when I was in Venice. Something caught my eye. A detail I would have surely never noticed otherwise. On the very famous clock, the number four is written exactly like IIII

Who would have guessed. This got me interested so I looked up Roman numerals, and there are indeed several variations of the symbols. (funny note: the first image was actually used in another Boards thread, pardon for that, but I hurried to find an image of lines on Jhin's weapon)
