Skarner : His lore

I truly like the lore of League of Legends. Like everyone else, I've got my favorite champions too. One of these is Skarner. Since the retcon, his old lore is outdated. A lot of other champions are in this situation, I know that well, BUT, during the Shurima event, he got relocated from Kalamanda to Shurima, which you have ideas about his future lore. While knowing nothing is frustrating, knowing only a bit is even more frustrating. Please, could you give us a few hints about the actual state of our favorite scorpion ?

They currently work on the shadow isles lore,after that they are probably going to adjust the shurima lores that they originally prepared to the new lore format(because that changed again,just compare GPs or Kindreds lore to azirs&Xeraths).

One small hint that we might have gotten is that a rioter(forgot which one) mentioned that the mountain on the ancient shurima map looks kinda crystaline http://vignette1.wikia.nocookie.net/leagueoflegends/images/2/2e/Shurima_map.jpg/revision/latest?cb=20150227214027

Though I am not sure if this was from someone who works on the lore team or just speculation by a different rioter.
