New Support is Dolphin-Insipired?

"For the ancient Romans, dolphins were in charge of bringing the souls of the dead to the Islands of the Blessed; They related these animals to mystical processes of life, death, and resurrection. Even the Greeks associated these animals with the Assyrian goddess Atargatis, the deity of fertility and the underwater world." (https://www.dolphins-world.com/dolphins-in-mythology/)

The silhouette we see out the porthole in the teaser image is clearly cetacean. There were Blessed Isles in universe. This is said to be a support that will save an ally or drown the enemy by their own hand - Dolphins over life, death, and resurrection makes sense for this. Dolphins regularly save drowning people, but have also been observed murdering others of their own species.

Anyway, not sure if the silhouette out of the porthole is too obvious or what, but I'm kind of hoping that's the champion. Or, something to do with it...

Maybe. There's a chance that this Champion actually has ties to the Shadow/Blessed Isles as well, or at least the Black Mist. Swain mentions that Bilgewater fights the mist above the seas, but never bothers to check beneath.

Shark or dolphin, super excited to see what this Champion is!

I would guess shark not dolphin since it's description was more beastly.

The silhouette looks like a coelecanth to me, one of those ancient fish that has somehow survived since the dino days.
