I have some (lore) questions.

It hadn't occurred to me until recently that I could just drop all of my questions here.

  1. How powerful are the Ascended compared to the Aspects of Targon, and what would the relationship between Targon and Shurima be like if they were aware of the power the other held?

  2. When Azir died, did he meet the Kindred?

  3. Is there any long-term (afterlife or something) difference between being "killed" by Lamb instead of Wolf or vice-versa?

  4. Why is the sun so significant? I mean, there's the Targonian Aspect of the sun, but Targonians might not even have the same sun as Runeterra. And then ascension is done with the power of the sun, but in the end, the sun is just another star created by Sol. So… yeah.

  5. I've been under the impression that the Kindred are seen differently by everyone, and the in-game depiction is just how Magga saw them. How would Aurelion Sol or other people see the Kindred?

  6. Will Riot ever complete a story line? For example, will a champion (Xerath, Lissandra, etc.) ever be permanently defeated, or even killed?

I know that most, if not all, of these questions would just have speculative answers, but hey, I'm still askin'.

About 6. Well one could argue that the storyline about the rivalry between graves and TF ended. Sure they are still up to other stuff, but that is pretty much their next chapter.

  1. I have a couple of theories about the Ascended and the Aspects which I posted a while ago in a "larger" thread. (Large for me, I will never reach those 10.000 word essays you see here sometimes)

  2. Probably, though I doubt he'd remember. Or he didn't meet them. Maybe because it 'wasn't his time to die', because he was fated to come back from the dead. Who knows.

  3. I doubt it.

  4. The sun is one star of many, but still a star. That's a giant supply of power there right over your head. Also it's the closest star to Runeterra, regarding ascension. You don't look for some extremely futuristic way to filter your solar cells, because you only want the light from Alpha Centauri or something, you take your suns power. It's just the most effective way to do it.

Can't tell for the last two

  1. We dunno; the two have never been shown fighting in such a manner as to be comparable.

  2. Presumably yes because everyone meets Kindred.

  3. Kindred represents how one approaches death and dying itself, and given their own word I don't think they care much for what comes after death, so it's likely there's no difference as to what comes after unless the afterlife you're specifically going to is different.

  4. Aurelion Sol imbues a piece of himself in to every star he makes, so there's far more going on there than you may assume.

  5. Kindred's interpretation as Lamb and Wolf is very Runeterran in origin, so how beings like Aurelion Sol and Bard see Kindred's up for debate, but they probably see them in their own ways.

  6. Dunno, that's up to Riot and whether they think it's a good idea.
