So Cassiopeia confirmed as a Darkin?

“Warding sigils. Potent once, but faded,” said Varus, crossing the inscribed flagstones to where a towering statue of a great serpent-headed god had once stood sentinel. Some past catastrophe had toppled it, and beyond its sandstone remains lay a lightless chamber. Varus entered, the glow from the smoldering light at his heart revealing nothing but bare stone, burned black and glossy with ancient fire. Varus sighed. “Where are you, sister?” he said."

Quote from the new Varus lore.

Nah, it's probably that an Ascended with snake form sealed a Darkin inside that temple. New character hinted.

Cass is not a darkin here is why: 1.Cass does not have any weapon 2.She is not even close to a darkin judging by looks. 3.She is in Noxus (Its said in her short story)

I don't think so based on the designs of previous darkins. Maybe this is a teaser for a future female darkin champ.

Unlikely. Cassiopeia has no weapon, no voice in her head telling her what to do and the snake part of her does not fit with Aatrox, Rhaast and Varus' color schemes.

Well yeah Cassios look maybe doesn't match, but she actually turned into the Cassio we know because of a weapon. She broke a promise she made on a "snake formed dagger" which could mean there actually was a darkin in that dagger, which should have actually layed in the tomb, Varus found.

He wasn't looking for Cassiopiea, and she wasn't the only statue in that temple... Renekton was there too.

He was looking for a Darkin that is appearantly been transfered to another secure location that appears to not be the temple he was looking for her in.
