One thing to remember is that in game limitations for the sake of balance, do not necessarily exist within lore. In Zed's teaser image posted by Champion Herald NeeksNaman we see Zed with....9 shadows.
What is the upper limit of shadows that he can create? What is the limit of how often he can swap with them? And in lore, it appears they may be mobile, and able to attack in melee -is this true?

Please, dont mix fan theories with real lore. The theory of Zed and Nocturne has 0 proofs aside from that splash art from a skin of Zed.

The pale man with dark hair who splat himself in two is actually Zed that splat himself in order to create Nocturne and Wolf because both of them are shadow like creatures? Zed is actually the king of the Shadow Isles because he is the master of shadows and the Shadow Isles has shadows? Zed and Teemo are actually the same champ because they both have shadows? Akali is actually the student of Zed because she is the fist of Shadows? Diana is actually the lost sister of Zed because she has night powers and during night there are shadows?

I saw the video and read the theory when was first posted, and makes no sense, a lot of champs have similar animations, specially the old ones, and similar name of skills.
The only think that may have a bit of sense is the theory that says that Nocturne is a nightmare of Shen about Zed, however saying that his nightmare became alive because the magic of the "eye of the twilight" makes no sense... people cant create a living entity just because he dreamed about it, even if he is a magical ninja.
Von Revanchist1 votesI don't like the idea of zed and nocturne being the same, I'd prefer them to be separate characters. However I do think it would be cool if they were linked. Like Zeds shadow power comes from a similar source and Nocturne is just that power in raw form without inhabiting a human. I want more links between champions!!!

I completely agree, I don't think Riot will release the past of a champion as champion.
Rand0mH3r0X1 votesWe do know that Zed was hurt in some way. Also consider that Zed, solely, fought Shen's father, but his followers are the ones who took over the temple. Zed isn't a strong as he was going into that fight, and we can speculate on the reason why. Little things are what make the lore interesting, and controversial.
