Based solely on lore, character design, What champion is the WEAKEST?

Since a common topic i've seen is "What champion is strongest based on lore" (Usually ends with Xerath or Aatrox winning), i'm wondering what everyone considers the weakest based on lore, and character design.

!!!!!DO NOT TAKE IN GAME BALANCE INTO CONSIDERATION FOR THIS!!!!!

Personally I feel this goes to Galio, He was designed to protect someone important, But when he failed that mission he sorta just vanished from sight and now just sits on demacian rooftops like a derp.

in all honesty Corki u.u and he's my main, but really, he could be so much more than a retired veteran with no goals at all ._.

Garen or Darius. They're just guys with large weapons. Nothing magical about them.

Blade of Justic12/21/2014, 9:27:47 PM2 votes

I'm gonna say Amumu.

All he does is cry.

Gangplank Seriously, he's a pirate. A very good pirate, but a pistol is only going to take you so far.

Saying X champ is weak without Y thing, weapon, magic or companion... is not fair. I mean, urgot without tech is dead and many champs are normal persons.

Taric Taric. No one knows anything about his back story or his old world, just that he is almost like a Samurai Jack being dropped into a different world. Hell the wondering knight thing would be interesting to know also. Since Riot's been doing this whole bigger world story and connection to other champs, I think the gem knights past should be a bit more known about.

I would Definetly Say Gangplank and MissFortune pirates with pistols, thats it, i suppose they have sips backing them though, id say theyre a solid guess. i mean they have no armor and a flintlock pistol for a weapon

also Draven im not sure those axes would really be effective and they would have to sweetspot. getting hit by the handle wouldnt be very effective. plus u would have to throw them relly hard and accurately.

Ezreal is just a plain ol' explorer that happens to find a magic gauntlet that shoots light "arrows".

Seriously though... what kind of combat would he actually know?

i would say mini-gnar, but if he was in a cinematic riot would make him that comic relief guy who always manages to accidentally subdue the enemy scooby-doo style.

Ezreal

Why?

  • No formal or self-taught combat training. He forewent combat training/magical training in favor of being an explorer
  • Skills he brings to a table in combat (Cartography, Exploring, etc) might be useful in a survival battle but NOT in a death arena
  • Zero actual prowess in magic or combat. Again, he forewent these skills and instead opted to be an explorer
  • The only reason Ezreal is even in the League is that he has a "cheat" (The magic glove) that lets him access his innate magic power without practice, studying or even information.

Ezreal is a normal guy in a league of super humans...except unlike normal guys like Garen who train so hard they become the peak of human ability, he just has a power glove that lets him cheat.

Yorick

He's just a guy with a shovel, nobody really knows what he can do with ghosts outside of the game, but it's probably not much.

I love him and all, but he's just a guy doing his job

Waffins12/31/2014, 3:02:07 AM1 votes

Nautilus without the league his search would be halted, he would question his own existence. This would cause him to be depressed. No league , No revenge ( Or Mermaids to chaseNami , he was a sailor after all).

Rammus.

Shynkle12/21/2014, 8:48:19 PM1 votes

Vi. She has big gloves. You shoot her or cut her or blast her with magic and she just dies.

BattleBalladeer12/21/2014, 11:00:03 PM1 votes

Yorick. You can put the whole thing on a napkin. One made for gnomes. I feel like Reksai had so much more effort and she doesn't even talk.

GreenLore12/21/2014, 11:55:56 PM1 votes

I'd say Cassiopeia could be rather low in terms of strenght, considering that she didn't have to have any fighting power before she was transformed and her transformation seems to be rather new,so I doubt she is as experienced as Janna Lux or Veigar ,not to mention that if these things are true, she'd lack combat experience in general.

I'd have to say Zilean takes the cake.

I know he is immortal, but I want to point out two things: He can be killed by others and his mental health is dependent on the powerful summoning magics employed by the league. His lore states he mentally drifts to any time in the past, reliving events because he "detached his consciousness from its anchor in the present time" as a result of his research. This means if Zilean had to venture away from the League I could simply capture/kill him WHEN his consciousness drifted away. Yes, his one offensive magic is pretty strong but I'm sure if somebody really wanted to keep him as a captive like VIktor would be possible for them to construct a magic prison that forced a state of silence and/or interrupt.
