Will League of Legends ever "end?"

As season counts get higher, champion pool gets bigger, and people (maybe?) move onto other games, what will happen with this game? Will Riot go and say "Last patch we'll ever make, gg?" I am asking what Riot plans for League of Legends in the late future.

Where are you retiring too? How much money will you have? Will you be famous before you die? These are few questions that are similar in idea and concept.

I'd imagine the very last champion they ever release will be URF, the manatee. Like, they actually make him a playable champion to end all champion release.

It's about over if Riot doesn't start listening to it's players

I mean, it will eventually end, everything comes to an end; there are no exceptions to this rule (except maybe Jellyfish).

League probably has a good number of years ahead of it though, I could see it lasting another 5 or 6 years give or take.

Lorewise... no not unless great war breaks out and disbands the League... however gamewise... as with any for-profit organization: It will end when the game is no longer profitable. Being now a Chinese-owned company that bar is much faster to be breached then an American company holding on to hope.

It is more likely that LoL will be replaced with a fully 3D LoL2... not unlike a MMORPG combat style before this time...
