Ralanr15 votesFair enough. Honestly I’ll probably be very annoyed when playing her and the only reason I like her is because her personality, movements, and how her spells are designed all seem to fit. It’s Sion/Warwick level of thematic and gameplay integration.
Like if they tried pulling off a hyperactive character but the kit or playstyle didn’t fit it, then I would feel more annoyed. Here I can actually laugh because it fits right.
Though I can see why people won’t like her. I can already imagine the hate posts about anime centric characters.

Fasmodey2 votesShe is kind. Kinder than most of characters. And for that reason, she doesn't hesitate to put herself in danger for desperate people. Of course it depends on point of view, but if you ask me, It doesn't make her suicidal, just someone who gives value to life of others a lot. She in the moment thinks on "how can I save them?" more than "Can I save them?". That eventually puts herself in danger.
If she wanted to die, she wouldn't try to escape from Galio when she thought he was gonna kill her. Or wouldn't fight against Nocturne.

the whole point of many heroic tales is to show us that doubt kills , fear prevent us from reaching highest peaks and second guessing our every move wont work.

The thing with self doubt is that it's an internal one, no one is going proclaim they have self doubt which is why you don't see it much reflected in VO.

outside of the aspects yes some champions do have self doubt such as ekko, ahri, heck even jarvan IV its just that it does not dominate their personality and dictate everything they do like amummu for example.

i was was talking about champions as whole, if you take a look at the recent releases (even reworks) you notice the pattern. and yeah i noticed those as well but sadly they dont stand out much and even overdoing that makes the enviroment dull as well.
just having the same kind of attitudes,dialogues and reactions from champions can get a bit boring , the cocky personalities,the "im untouchable" kind of champions.
the balance and Variety is key, doesnt have to be always a selfdoubt thing.Ornn was a great example here or Sona their reactions to being a champion of the league is pretty unique to their characters.

Usually, companies are afraid of bringing in children because of parents / people in general suing them for showing violent content on kid characters, but Riot's not afraid. This brings a lot of variety and I respect them for that.

4 Step Cadence1 votesHey. A female champ I actually like. I like her appearance, especially that hair. I'm also fond of twilight and sunsets in general. She's also a Targonian, a region I'm glad is getting some love. She's not terribly annoying, though I may wait until the special interactions are released so I can hear her better.
Zoe is definitely up there with my favorites in terms of theme and design.
Hopefully I'll get her from a random champ shard a few days after her release like Kayn.
