The Ruined Kingdom

So, this is a simple issue. I decided to try to figure out the timeline for Runeterra and realized something. The Ruination had to be a relatively modern event, no more then two centuries max, though I suspect that it might be a little newer then even that. Considering this, the large realm of the Ruined King existed as a contemporary of Noxus and Demacia, and it always seemed to me that the land of the Ruined King was a fairly large and powerful realm, with a reknowned circle of knights, and the ability to amass a mighty navy. Now that considered, there isnt too much land available on the map. That large space between Noxus and Demacia is notably unnamed... perhaps the majority of that territory is the remnants of the Ruined Kings realm?

I don't think so. They've stated that 5/6ths of Runeterra are yet to be revealed. The Ruined Kingdom was (is?) most likely located on them.

It's highly unlikely that the Ruination happened two centuries ago, as well. A thousand years must've passed since it, at least. Noxus couldn't have risen and expanded so much in such a short time, especially not after the Rune Wars, not to mention that characters like LeBlanc, Ryze and Elise have existed for centuries.

Seems odd that such a seemingly influential kingdom could exist between Demacia and Noxus, yet be lost to history so quickly. There are mentions of Champions travelling to lands further West than what we can see, so the Ruined Kingdom might be in the lands/continents that are not yet featured in the map. The current map only shows about 1/6th of the planet, afterall.

Is the ruined kingdom like all around the 2 major continents. B/c you see the ruined kingdom goes around during the harrowing to attack bilge water, but karthus from that land had seen the attle between kassadin and malzhar in icathia.

as far as i remember, Before Noxus and Demacia, Mordekaiser ruled Valoran... and when he was defeated, Demacia and Noxus were born... If the Kingdom of The Ruined King was a third kingdom "born" due the fall of Mordekaiser, i think that we would know already that such place existed.

It has to be post-Rune War. Ryze's master is from the Blessed Isles. Tyrus of Hylea. Meaning it still existed around that time.
