"Something in the Brush"

So with the latest pbe update several new files were added that seem to involve the brush shaking and then a strange, animalistic cry sounding.

Now this is a very strange thing, and many are speculating it's a new champion teaser in the vein of some very mysterious champions from last year: Bard, Tahm Kench and Kindred.

The sound in question is incredibly high pitched at times, and sounds fairly avian or mammalian. One little bit of speculation is about it possibly being the cries of a bat, but why it'd be hiding in the brush is anyone's guess. On the bat note though, remember this:

And the strange, unidentified form in the background? Kinda bat like I'd say, but really I'm not saying anything because this is all speculatory. Theorise away summoners! Who or what could be making this sound and why?

The only thing I dislike about these kind of teasers is that they usually mean that the champion won't be in the patch afterwards. You know the teaser will come with patch 6.14,but they won't reveal the champion until patch 6.15 comes out,since otherwise it wouldn't be much of a teaser(since most people don't keep track of the pbe-updates) So the champ will most likely be in the 6.16 patch(pretty much the same happened with Tahms and Bards teasers)

That first screech scared the piss out of me. Whatever it is, I bet it's Not Of This World. Betting on another Void champ, especially given how they seem to have become EVERYONE'S bad guys.

Hey Sharjo I might have gotten a brainwave. Being the dumbass I am I actually ended up posting the exact same kind of thread .I searched for another but I didn't find any at the time. Although I was pretty stoned at the time. But now that I've come back to it I started thinking a bit differently.

Now I'll say this now before I get any further, I'm going out on a limb of a guess here.

What if our brushy friend could potentially be a revived Omen project? Given Omen's appearance and concepts, it does have a predatory feel towards it. Similar to the sounds that are given off when approaching the brushes. It sounds small-medium sized, yet somewhat very predatory, as if it'd be used to skulking around silently, waiting for prey to walk by.

Omen was iced simply because at the time it was poorly designed. Many of it's concepts have been inherited by other champs. His purpose as ranged artillery was succeeded by Kog'Maw. Hell even a remnant of it;s original appearance shows up in Jurassic Kog'Maw's splash.

However it doesn't necessarily mean that Omen could be a void champion or whatever. Potentially, Omen's purpose could have been brought back to the drawing board and potentially re-designed and re purposed to act out a different playstyle. Maybe it even inspired another champion design to compete with it's spiritual successor.

ya know how some of the void champs are like: Kog: Mouth of the Void VelKoz: Eye of the Void

I wonder if they'll make something like Scent of the Void Sound of the Void then eventually The Void . 3 . !

Void champ probs because of the Void event teased and that it sounds.... interesting. It sounds awsome and I hope its more than a skin... I thought Dark Star Thresh was a new champ from the teaser.

I think it's fairly clear that the wild life sounds very jungly, but there is a a strange sense I personally kind of get. Every sound byte kind of starts with a rough kind of thud like digging or chopping. So my personal guess is that the champion is largely to do with the exploration of the Kumungu jungle.

My guess would be it's either a new Void champion or a Primal/Jurassic Kha'Zix skin.

With the avian sounds it is making, it makes me think that it has some relation to the crimson raptor camp.

my first thought was hiding in the bush for a classic ambush would be alot harder as you would make a random sound for w/e reason but i really hope its not that

my 2nd thought was it kinda sounded like reksai so maybe shes gettin some change?

i hope its new champ who depends on bush to maxamize their power but in a different way, maybe the bush makes sounds when they are in or a recently placed trap has been placed in that bush, either way leaving a cautionary fear to the summoner instead of the champion directly from just a wiggly bush with a sound

also... a new yordle? just throwing that out there

They depict a creature running to a bush (99% is KogMaw) and are signed by "Kled". In my opinion the name and the wording seem relatable to a Yordle hunter.
