What are some ships that don't make any sense if you think about the new lore?

I would say

Garen is the captain of a battalion of soldiers, he is very strict towards magic (but in the comics of Lux, we saw his kind side with his sister) but he is still very loyal to his country and i'm not sure he should love Noxians people. I don't understand how Garen can fall in love with a noxian and especially an assassin, it's make no sense. Katarina have killed Demacians people, she is a murderer.
From Katarina side, her personnality don't really fit to love Garen. The only common point of both would be their loyalty to their nations but if they are loyal, they won't try to love someone who is an enemy of their nation.
I don't undestand this ship, i know it's popular but from a lore perspective, i don't think it's make sense.

because they never have met. Taric don't know about the existence of Ezreal and reciprocally so how can they fall in love together if they didn't know each other ?

: Their characters are so different, i can't imagine them together. Jayce is a scientist who is proud of himself and Vi is a tomboy who loves to kick asses. Vi would probably be pissed at Jayce bragging and end up to crush his face. Jayce would always consider Vi as a "idiot" and told her she is "inferior" or things like that.

: Even if they share a common skin, let's be honest, if Evelyn was with TF, he would be dead. You can't be in a relationship with Evelyn, she is a demon. TF is a player, he loves risk his luck to games but i'm not sure he would risk his life in bed.

: It's may look cute at first but don't forget Amumu is a mummy and Annie is a little girl who isn't at legal age. Amumu is probably very old, like 100 or 1000 years old, he is a mummy so he can live forever since it's a spirit in a dead body wrapped in strips. A little girl with a 1000 years old mummy is weird if you think about it. We can suppose that Annie can break Amumu curse and be his friend but then we would have to precise Amumu age to make them a couple.
Terozu9 votesRomance forged in the fires of desperation. Romeo and Juliet. They're star crossed lovers. They love each other as individuals. They can't be together because they're both loyal to their nations. That's the entire point of Garen and Kat.
The current known iteration of how they met had his men detaining her, she escaped, but he cuffed himself to her. Then a giant monster showed up and they had to work together to survive. I could link you the storyboard for it. You'll get to hear kat calling him an asshole! :)

Maybe they are like star crossed lover who can't love each other because of their nation but i don't think Garen would love someone who have murdered his people (or maybe love is more powerful than justice and reason ?). Katarina would be able to forget Garen crimes towards Noxus but Garen...
But the thing is that if we agree with this relationship, then we agree that Garen have lose his values about Demacia and everything. He is not anymore the "strict" and "ruthless" soldier he was and he could do some things against Demacia for love. It's could be interesting to break Garen image of the true defender of Demacia with no flaws and add him a dark side like this.

Ofc Garen and Kat's relationship is rocky from the very beginning, but that doesn't mean they won't understand each other and, eventually, respect each other.
And there is already a small dark side of Garen revealed in Lux' comic. He defends those he cares about of Demacia's society and doesn't always agree with Demacia's ideology of "Justice" (even tho he doesn't show it).

But the thing is that if we agree with this relationship, then we agree that Garen have lose his values about Demacia and everything.
so have we forgotten lux already? the "filthy mage scum" that is his own sister? garen's conflict between being the ideal demacian soldier and his feelings is pretty much his whole character. lux is a part of that and kata would only add to that. He'd be a pretty boring character without this part.

Veigar wants everyone to think hes evil and probably doesn't have the mental for "romance" similar to how Lulu doesn't seem like the romance type either
Kayn is in a struggle with a Darkin weapon presumably to win the respect of Zed and to become more powerful, and Akali thinks he's crazy in game so unlikely that there would ever be romance especially since Akali hates Zed
Last time we saw Lux she was camping out with some mage refuges who had fled Demacia and I doubt she has any interest in Ezreal whatsoever

Nothing to do with "right to feel love" it just doesn't make sense at all Though they are friends Garen is pissed at him, plus Riot has hinted at Garen and Kat for a long time and though it was retconned with the League itself, with Garen's newfound awareness and the fact that he is now more open minded than J4 it's entirely possible that it gets canonized in the future, AT THE VERY LEAST more reasonable than Taric and Garen

It was mainly done because Zac's silhouette actually appears in battle bunny rivens splash. So yeah this ship was created just because of a small early-bird-cameo to tease Zacs release that went unnoticed by most.

And yeah, it's would make sense because Ahri only friend is Wukong... It's the only champ who is in her "friends" list when you check her profile.
I'm an Ahri main btw and i love Wukong mains... I always try to play Ahri when someone play Wukong in my team.
