Is the next Darkin going to be "dominated"?

So far, the Darkin champions are:

Aatrox An unknown individual taken over by Aatrox.

Varus In his old lore, Varus the Ionian used the Darkin bow to fend of the Noxian invasion (supposedly controlling it). In the new lore, Valmar and Kai were defeated by Varus the Darkin.

Kayn Kayn can defeat Rhaast or Rhaast can defeat Kayn. This goes to show that mortals can defeat Darkin in a test of wills.

The next Darkin could be subdued by a human (yordle, vastaya, etc.) and will remain that way unless they were somehow revived. Meanwhile the character wielding the Darkin weapon uses special powers normally only harnessed by the Darkin themselves to complete their own ends.

This is just curiosity more than anything. Your thoughts?

I doubt that we'd ever get a fully dominated darkin.

With only 5 darkin in the lore,it would feel like a huge waste of potential for one of the darkin to be fully dominated from the start.

Also Varus didn't use the darkin bow in the old lore,he was protecting the corrupting essence(which had the appearance of a big purple flame) and he only took the power for himself after he successfully defended it,when he realized that his village was annihilated. He then used the power to hunt down noxians.

I think it'd be interesting to see a fallen Ascended and a Darkin in a kind of symbiotic relationship. They probably could amplify their powers tenfold.

My initial hopes with the Swain rework was that his demon was a Darkin he'd completely subdued to fearful servitude, using souls to keep it down.

If I had to guess, either that or in harmony with their host. A Darkin that is seeking redemption kinda deal.

Well, there are a few hints as to what exactly the next Darkin is going to be.

We could assume it's going to be the female Darkin Valeeva, as hinted by Varus and the Twilight of the Gods story.

We could assume she will be winged, as it describes her feathery spines standing on end in the Twilight of the Gods story.

We could assume she will have been sealed and unearthed in Demacia, as each Darkin was sealed within a different providence, Aatrox being in the Freljords, Varus being in Ionia, and Rhaast being in Noxus.

We could assume a majority of her character will be devoted to the duality of her personality, the once noble Ascended at odds against the very corruption that had tainted her, as she will be representing the Darkin Scales, I'll be it, most likely not directly.

So we're looking at a winged female from Demacia who is wrestling with the good and evil within her, either literally or figuratively. She might not even be a Darkin, if she had expelled the corruption from her weapon, of course at that point we'd be looking at a dual champion released, like a pair of angels or something, and one is a dark reflection of the other.

Swain controls a demon, not a Darkin.. but i think maybe Morgana after her update is gonna be a Darkin? it's hinted at in Aatrox's dialog with her.. so maybe she's in control or something? idk
