Older Champion Model Overhaul

Something that has been bothering me for awhile is how inconsistent the quality of Lol's champion models are. This is due to the age of the game, with older models looking depressing compared to the clean, crisp models coming out today. Many use Mundo as an example, for good reason, however it effects a decent chunk of the champion pool. Personally, I think an overhaul of champion models would greatly enhance how the game looks, as well as giving a new, solid base for new skins coming out. Obviously this would be a huge project. There are so many skins and champs that could be tweaked just because of how long the game has been alive. Knowing this, would it be possible to steadily roll out new models for the champs that need them most, slowly making the models in the game more consistent? Those are just some thoughts I have on the subject, thanks for reading!

Having a massive model overhaul will completely defeat the purpose of VGUs. Riot made it clear on why they can't just do VU-only anymore. Karthus, Annie, Singed, and Maokai (Pre-Class Update) are major reasons why they stopped. They said that Karthus should've received the full VGU package because of how weird and outdated his kit is. Same with Annie, but in the lines of a Tristana-level VGU. For Singed, Maokai, and Kassadin, not many ever notice their VUs until they started playing them.

Riot considered in putting more time and effort in not just their visuals, but their gameplay and player satisfaction. If they were to update Nunu's in-game visuals and not improve their gameplay, it'll still be the same, outdated Nunu, but with a new model. They don't want to waste resources on their visuals unless it's a VGU. Having a massive VU overhaul on older champions that are scheduled to have VGUs in the future would be considered a massive waste or resources and time.

It's best if Riot takes their time in giving older champions a new, interactive niche to explore while remain loyal to their original core.
