We must have different definitions of ruined. I definitely like the new red and black ones better than the old ones.
That's subjective, you can't really say the old versions are objectively better than the new ones. What can be said however is that more people prefer the new ones to the old ones. That's just unfortunate for those of you who like the old ones.
