Was ruining Hecarim's lore even necessary?

Hecarim is a towering, armored specter whose name is whispered fearfully across the length and breadth of Runeterra. He patrols the Shadow Isles, running down anyone foolish enough to set foot upon its cursed soil. As the vanguard of undeath, Hecarim rides forth from the Black Mist, laughing mockingly as he tramples the living beneath his iron-shod hooves.

I just noticed this after looking at Kalista's rivals, and becoming curious of what Hecarim did to be on her shit list. His lore used to be normally long, now it's just one damn paragraph AGAIN.

WHY ARE WE DOING THIS TO THE LORE? WE'RE TAKING DECENTLY SIZED INTERESTING STORIES, AND REPLACING THEM WITH A PARAGRAPH OF INFORMATION THAT BARELY TELLS US ANYTHING ABOUT THEM. We get it, not much is known about Bard. Neither is evelynn. Or shaco. Or the void monsters. Yet the still have a lot of information about them. What is so important about the universe's balance staying intact that Bard comes out every eon to fix? He's a smart kid from the hood of Zaun. Okay, what made him the prodigy he is? Where did he get all his time gadgets? He invented the Zero Drive, but what about his timewinder? His sword? (unless that's the zero drive) Where did he get the materials to make his things? Did he steal them? Buy them? She is the queen of her species, the Xer'Sai. Void monsters that dwell in the Shuriman sands underground to take the lives of the unexpecting. How did she become queen? Even trundle's lore says how he became troll king. Why doesnt Rek'sai's lore say that? Also, SHE IS THE QUEEN OF A TRIBE FROM THE VOID. WHY IS SHE CALLED THE 'VOID BURROWER'? JESUS CHRIST i'm missing the great detailed lore riot has been giving us. I really want to know more about these newer champs. And for the older ones? Stop fucking touching their stories. I dont even remember Hecarim's old lore, but it was far more detailed than this paragraph.
