#####Stand strong, soldiers!
In the first semi-final, the soldiers of Demacia face off against spirits of the Shadow Isles. Both stories are by Anthony Reynolds, but they can't meet each other in the final. I'm proud I managed to swap them around like this, because it means we won't have the same situation as last year.
In the first story, Turmoil, Cithria and her squad are tasked with escorting an important target to the capital. Tension around the country rises because a serial killer, worse, a mage escaped from prison, but they manage to bring everyone home safely.
In the second story, The Echoes left Behind, we witness the story of Ledros, Champion of the King, now a restless spectre. He desperately wants to bring an end to the suffering of the Isles, to free the love of his life (and death) - Kalista, the Spear of Vengeance. He can almost reach out to her - but then, the moment is gone. Oh, how sweet the suffering of this one tastes...
