Are there still splash art updates being worked on?

With the update wave of splash arts that came out a while ago I'm wondering if champions that are still in desperate need of updates (such as Anivia and my beloved Katarina) are going to get them anytime soon. Are they being prolonged due to champion reworks (like in Poppy's case)?

Also, I noticed that a few non-base skins with outdated artwork were updated as well (snow bunny/leopard nidalee, minuteman gangplank), so are there going to be updates to Legendary skins like Blood Lord Vladimir and Demonblade Tryndamere which have outdated but really cool looking artwork?

You're definitely on point that some of the splash arts are going to be delayed until their respective updates. most updates change how characters look significantly so waiting until the character's identity has been set in stone is a good idea to not double the work load.

Also, in regards to their plans on skin splashes they're working hard to get all of the original splashes up to date first. After that though they'll definitely start work on all the outdated skin splashes.

Riot are working on new splashes all the time, and champ updates aren't delaying them, splashes just take time to make. The splashes you mentioned for SB and Leopard Nidalee and Minuteman Gangplank are Chinese Splashes. They weren't made by the Rioters in NA, who made the modern splashes, AFAIK. You can find more of the Chinese splashes in the wiki- Be aware that not all champs and skins have Chinese splashes. (The Chinese splashes weren't made recently either)

I don't expect any new splashes for BL Vladimir or Demomblade Tryndamere, and I don't think they have Chinese splashes either, to replace the current ones more easily. Riot's plan is to update the outdated base champions splashes and then update skin splashes. :)
