Hypothetical question

Hypothetically speaking, if Talon and Quinn got into a serious relationship, got it on, had a kid, a son for instance, hypothetically speaking would Quinn tell Valor to accompany her son during his early age right into his teens? Like for protection purposes? Would Valor be ok with spending the remainder of his life accompanying and protecting Talon and Quinn's son? Or would Valor not like that idea since he has always been bound to Quinn?
