Dear RIOT, can we get another champ from the Voodoo Lands?
That is all I am asking. As I noticed that 
is the only one to come from there. As surely there must be a ton of mage characters there and they are all practicing some dark magics.

yea i think the voodoo lands were retcon but we dont know because riot want to keep the new map under super lock and key
A voodoo themed champ would be really awesome!

was from Voodoo Lands, but yeah we do need a new champ from there.
Would be cool if they made a voodoo doll based champion
I really wish we could see Annie grow up. We'd lose the only kid champ, but you have to wonder what kind of a bad-ass (or terror?) she'll become.
But Annie is from Noxus.

I have a feeling the Voodoo Lands were supposed to tie into Tabu, the cancelled Voodoo Shaman. But after he got scrapped they've just kind of sat there.
Nothing confirmed, but if this kind of stuff piques your interest, I'd look up the cut champ, Tabu, who is...probably the reason the Voodoo Lands are even a thing. Annie really doesn't have a Voodoo aesthetic at all, but at one point there was a planned champion who looked like a Voodoo Witch Doctor. You can see his model and a few of his ability icons on the wiki.
I did some more research for possible hints. What I did come up with was that although the Puppeteer from the Harrowing 2014 looks like an updated version of Tabu, Riot has said its not Tabu and that its a totally original character. Which makes the second instance of a look-a-like being found within the Harrowing; the first being Averdrian and his head on the main page for the Harrowing. Both Averdrian and Tabu were found in caskets during a previous Harrowing and confirmed dead/cancelled. So one could take this as a red herring when it comes to Tabu and Averdrian.
A voodoo doll champ would be really cool. Especially if it originally belonged to Tabu and was found in the Voodoo Lands. Voodoo dolls are typically known of causing pain and misfortune, so the best way to capture that in LoL would be abilities and damage that get reflected back. Voodoo Dolls are often displayed as fairly resilient to the punishment given to them, so the role of Tank makes the most sense.
A character from the voodoo lands would help bring more attention to it. For a large chunk of Runeterra, its not really talked about like it was forgotten in the lore. I am surprised we haven't gotten another champion besides from there.
