Small tweeks to Viktor's splash that might help

I've noticed some details that if adjusted, would make this splash perfect. I don't know how much time the art department has, but I've edited these details to point out to what I meant, I apologize. It didn't take much effort, the edits are rather small.

In the original, his spine looks twisted a bit too much... and his right chest plate appears to be missing. He shouldn't be that thin! It might have been intended because of the extreme pose, but it's exaggerated too much. And the pose isn't compromised with the edits. I've also added a line on the drape that he has on the in-game model. Really really subtle change. It does look better, so I'll give you an upvote, but it's so subtle that I don't see them changing it.

Oh, I think I saw this some time ago in your tumblr~ I would love to see these changes in the real splash art. I really like how did you make these adjustments, you can't tell if these were done by the same guy who did the splash art. They fit so... nicely.

I hope that Riot-senpai gives an eye to this post!

While I think it looks good with the change, I think you are confusing foreshortening (a kind of perspective technique) with distorted proportions. We are very obviously supposed to be looking up at Viktor from the ground (you can tell because of the scale of his leg in comparison to the rest of his body) and the way he is turning makes it seem like he has shifted a little from his natural walking posture to turn towards us as we look through the gate he has just melted. It makes him look like he is moving and less static. Additionally, look at the walls of the structures right behind him, they are also angled backwards slightly, and this confirms our perspective. Adding in his shoulder like you have makes him look better in isolation, but when put into the rest of the background, it actually makes it mismatch ever so slightly.

Do you have a job in graphic design? The edits you made look like it was done by Riot themselves!

Also, I think they may have made viktor look skinny so as not to confuse players, 90% of him is made of metal so people might already think he is a tank, having him bulky/muscular would confuse these players even more.

ummm guys I just realized that in his splash he looks like he's either breaking himself out of a prison, or breaking someone else out of prison

When I started looking at them, I just thought you darkened the chest plate a hair on the edited version.

Don't really care about the spine change on Viktor. There are plenty worse splash arts to worry about if that bothers you.

First of all it does look better.

However, who's to say vik isnt really skinny? He is a nerd who works on robots all day.
