This is just a for fun question I had since Ekko's lore currently revolves completely around Zaun I was wondering realistically if he left and explored Runeterra how would his interactions be with the rest of the roster, like who would be his friends or enemies.
The Riot employees teased something like this by accident at a panel.
He said that Ekko is one of those characters that is still developing that he quote "hasn't had his Uncle Ben moment yet".
So if they do plan to kill Ekkos' parents and what we've seen thus far is just a "Spiderman 1" so to speak then he's sure to leave Zaun explore the world and become a hero then there are a few characters he has to meet.
for obvious reasons. I have been thinking about a Zilean VGU where he is revealed to be one of the Icathian "Mage Kings" from the Icathia short story. Maybe one of the guys who is responsible for bringing the Void back against Shurima and now wants to redeem himself by saving Icathia. The interesting thing I took note of is that Zilean can't actually change the past or at least this suggests that to me :
"Zilean now drifts through the past, present, and future, bending and warping the flow of time around him, always searching for that elusive moment that will turn back the clock and undo Icathia’s destruction."
To me it sounds like he can only DRIFT through time but not actually manipulate events. We know from other champs though that Ekko is literally diverging the timeline and creating a new Time stream when he goes back in time. Ekko however can only travel back a couple of seconds, his time travel isn't as deep as Zileans. If they work together they can save Icathia though somehow.

Ezreal kind of looks down on him calling him kid and the like. I can see an arc where Ez slowly starts to see Ekkos' worth and starts to trust him while dropping his egotistical front. Maybe Ezreals' redeeming quality can be that unlike other Piltovan he doesn't look down on Ekko for being a Zaunite. Because he's traveled the world he's more worldly and thus only looks down on everyone else because he's so great lol
