Taric's model is kind of boring
Feels like his outfit should be more colorful and interesting. Why so much plain black/grey? It's like he has basic armor in an mmo and only just found his first unique mace and shoulder items.

His face is not as Fabulous as the splash art makes it.
I had a similar reaction. Where's his fucking armour, huh? And the new mace kinda sucks next to the old massive crystal-studded hammer.
I guess that's the point in order to make you and everyone to go out and buy the Armor of the Fifth Age skin.

Taric has just been a disappointment all day today. They ruined my main. #1 Champion: Taric= RUINED
I somewhat would like some more brilliant colors in certain small details of the costume, but I think there's actually a good reason why the base model is not all that shiny. It makes the effects of all of his abilities stand out more impressively.
Taric's old model had a lot of readability/aesthetic comfort issues for me personally because of how vibrantly the bulk of his armor stood out. Imagining the new effects against his old armor, I can see why they might have thought it was probably better to go a little conservative on the shine for that reason.
Now that I look at his in game model face...His face almost looks like a caveman.
I still like his update.
Thats why Armor of the fifth age Taric is the best skin in the game
Models tend to not be 100% complete on pbe and receive color/shading tweaks l8r
