It doesn't happen every time or with everyone but last 2 weeks-ish i've noticed a lot of private messages in the client come through with replies ABOVE what i just said. So conversations look like this.
What i see: Me: Hey. Them: I'm good. Me: How Are you?
What was actually said: Me: Hey. Me: How Are you? Them: I'm good.
Try resynching the clock on your computer, that fixed it for me.
if on windows 10, right click the clock -> adjust date/time -> scroll down to related settings and click the "additional time,date, and regional settings" link -> click the "set the time and date" link -> go to the internet time tab and click change settings
Simliar issue. Tried the re-sync, no dice.

Me:Hi Person: hey whatsup? me: not much, normals or Ranked?
What is displayed
Me:HI Me:not much, normals or Ranked?
Person: hey whatsup?
As the conversation continues my posts stay in some weird timestamp limbo at the top of the dialogue box, whereas my friend's keeps posting at the bottom. as time goes on the conversation looks way out of sync.
Ex: [4:41PM] Vizceral: didn't mena to make you wait play one without [4:57PM] : where u at? [5:00PM] : resync not functioning [5:05PM] : testing ffs
[4:20PM] [requested not posted]: kk
Yeah it's a LoL issue right now, been happening for about 2 weeks. They've made tons of random updates to the client lately which has caused major glitches like this, I'm just waiting patiently for them to fix it I know they will soon enough.
I reinstalled the client about 3 weeks ago and my time is synced, so I wouldn't bother trying to fix it, just wait for them to update the client again and probably fix it.
Similar situation. No luck with any of the aforementioned fixes.
