How old is he?

Did it/ will it change after the rework?

I love the gameplay changes and in general the new gangplank looks pretty cool and totally BA... But you practically add 20 years to his appearance.
When I look at current gp I think of a man that has only has his few years under his belt of leading the crew as captain, the blood of his father still a nearby memory. Now he reminds me of my late grandfather who would wake up in the mornings and peel oranges to eat.

Current Gp estimated age late 20's - late 30's New Gp estimated age late 40's - early 60's In general do you prefer the new elderly Gangplank or are you going to miss when his whiskers held the vibrancy of colour in them.

"Old men in a dangerous line of work have been doing it for a very long time, and only lived that long because they've been smarter and/or stronger than everyone they've faced. Additionally, in a Crapsack World, or when Earth Is a Battlefield, a man may well only live to be old if he is already very bad-ass to start with.

How I view new Gangplank. I don't think he's that much older to be pushing it, but he's definitely mature.

I've personally been wondering about the discrepancy between his splash art/login screen and his in-game model. In the former, his beard appears to be graying, his face sharp and weathered. However, in-game, he appears as young and ready for adventure as ever.

Personally, I'm hoping that he's an older pirate, having established his reputation of brutality without losing a step as he's aged. The only other champions we have who's neither young and in their prime nor ancient and timeless is Swain, and it would be good to add another wisened leader to the party.
