Jax's mask.

Jax's mask is something that actually has been entirely left out of his lore, not a single mention. (Apart from lifting it to eat). The interesting thing is obviously that it has 6 holes, seemingly for his eyes. We don't know how many eyes Jax has, but that's beside the point.

I think Jax's mask would be really cool to have been some sort of relic from another continent that we don't know about from around the Runeterran world. We know Jax didn't leave Icathia with the mask on him and it is obviously important for him to be incorporated into his character. Plus he's the only canon champion to have explicitly explored the world

That being said, of course, he's had the mask since his conception. There was most likely no thought process put into it other than it looks cool. But in modern lore there should be a cool adaption by making it a relic from another continent like I said.

Something that would be REALLY interesting and bold is that the mask is technological, and is a relic from another continent. This would be super cool way of nodding towards something else, with advanced technology, in Runeterra. It also plays into his "New Dawn" theme. But of course I don't think it should be explored too much in depth with Jax because he already has a lot going on for his character, but it could provide some filler for his eons roaming. Just a nod saying "there is sum cool shit out there" and leave it at that would be amazing!

Not any relation to lore, they just thought it would be a cool champion design. They didn't really care about the lore back then. That pretty much sums it up

Ryze (gotta catch all of the world runes) Kindred (sort of, they're a spirit of death that isn't fixed to a single location) TahmKench (sort of, he's a demon that's all over the place) Yuumi (searching for Nora)
