Riot's new turn based strategy game: THE RUINED KING

Can't wait to see how this moves the lore forward. We just got Senna coming back telling us the Ruined King is coming and now we're getting a game that is his plan coming to fruition (or attempting) with Thresh at the helm maybe?

I have been wanting a story driven RPG for so long and now that we're getting one I am just so happy.

GOD DAMN.... Im speechless... that title promises a lot of things.

Shadow and Fortune is one of the best stories, its great to see that they will continue the story IN A GAME.

Was hoping to see gameplay, guess that will come later.

Welp, this also confirm the Ruined King is coming to League. There's no way they wouldn't make him a champ to tie with the game.

I'm hoping for a cameo in the game.

Nice that we go back to Bilgewater, they do deserve it. 4-5 years since Burning Tides now. And Ruined King's story is a story that is worth telling by a game. Highest of honors! Sucks that we know so little, no release date, no gameplay, no info beyond time and setting... Oh well! We'll have to suck it out... BY FORCE

I saw the trailer on another website and wondered what the gameplay was, turn based strategy? Like X-com or Front Mission 3? Civ?

EDIT: I looked up the dev, they are responsible for the Battle Chasers game which played as turn-base character RPG, I'm down for that.

I wonder how the factions will be settled here. We know Bilgewater is going to be involved, so, are we having a faction leadered by , or two factions for the city with the other being trying to take the city back? Because I would love that.

Ok I know I am kinda stretching it, BUUUUUT What if, I say what IF, the Ruined King is that new "edgy" solo laner riot teased in the roadmap. He's supposed to release after fiddle/voli and the new jungler. Soooo, fingers crossed?
